ماذا يقول مهيار خضور عن دور خالد بن الوليد في مسلسل عمر
في حديث له لموقع أم.بي.سي. أدلى الفنان السوري مهيار خضور، الذي يجسد شخصية خالد بن الوليد ويقوم بدوره، في مسلسل "عمر"، بقوله أن صحابيًا مهمًا في تاريخ الإسلام كخالد بن الوليد يثير أي ممثل لخوض هذه التجربة، وهي تجربة صعبة وممتعة في آن واحد، على حد تعبيره.
وحين عُرض عليه النص وقرأه تبين له فورًا أهمية العمل، ولم يخشَ من تجسيد شخصيات الصحابة وظهورها على الشاشة، لما قد يكون وراءها من منافع إيجابية، مضيفاً: "الخوض في المسلسل مغامرة حلوة، إنما يجب الاعتراف إن شخصية خالد (سيف الله المسلول) كانت بعيدة عن ذلك الجدل الذي دار، خاصة الجدل حول شخصيات الخلفاء، مثل أبي بكر الذي قام بدوره غسان مسعود، ويذكر أن شخصية خالد قد ظهرت في أعمال سابقة ، لذا قررت خوض التجربة بدافعية وعزم وثبات".
ونفى خشيته من المقارنة مع الفنان باسم ياخور الذي قام بأداء دور خالد في مسلسل عن حياته، قائلاً: "لكل شخص طريقته وأفكاره في أداء الشخصيات، ووجهة نظر في عملية البحث في هذه الشخصية وإظهارها، وهذا يلقي على عاتق الممثل عبئًا كبيرًا ويحمله مسؤولية أكبر ليقدم شيئا متميزًا وجديداً".
والجدير بالذكر أن الممثل السوري مهيار خضور أثبت نجاحه في أداء دور خالد بن الوليد في مسلسل عمر بن الخطاب، حيث أثبت للمشاهدين كبارًا وصغارًا أن خالدًا نِعْمَ القائد فكرًا وقيادةً وفروسيةً وطموحًا. قائد، استقل الخيول والجمال وهزم الصحراء ودكّ حصون الروم في معركة اليرموك، والفرس في معركة القادسية، وساهم في بناء امبراطورية إسلامية مترامية الأطراف.
ورغم أن العيب في المسلسل كان في إدارة وإخراج المعارك الحربية والمبارزات الثنائية، إلا أن خالدًا قد استوفى حقه في المسلسل، على عكس دور الخليفة علي بن أبي طالب الذي كان دوره على الهامش ،. ولكن ألا تستحق شخصية مثل خالد ابن الوليد أن تكون مادة دسمة لفكرة مسلسل أو فيلم سينمائي على صعيد محلي أو عالمي. إن هوليوود بصدد إنتاج وإخراج فيلم عن القائد العظيم محمد الفاتح. فأين دور الإعلام العربي والإسلامي من شد أنظار هوليوود صوب شخصية خالد بن الوليد؟
